Our beautiful log cabin cottage is set right on the edge of the stunning Bravura Lake in rural Algarve, just a short drive from the beaches in this wonderful part of southern Portugal.
The cottage offers seclusion for people wishing to escape the bustle of everyday life. It is also perfect for walking and fishing holidays in the Algarve.

Set in an idyllic valley of pines and eucalyptus trees, with lakeside paths and water frontage to the Barragem da Bravura, it is a very special place.

The wooden chalet cottage offers: One double bedroom, which can be made up as a double bed or two singles, a bathroom with shower and sitting room with fitted kitchen area. The veranda faces south with views over the lake.

Ideal for the nature lover, Poet,  Artist and Writer alike. You can swim in the lake 50 metres away. For fishermen: freshwater fishing for carp and black bass almost on your doorstep!

For the athletic
There are a variety of tracks suitable for cross country running, walking, rambling and mountain biking. Bikes are available.

The small village of Pereira is 10 minutes drive, here you can find José's, the local coffee shop and bar, with a small restaurant. Donna Julia, the second café has a small shop for groceries. The new Autodromo do Algarve, the new FIA approved racetrack is within easy driving distance. The nearest beaches are 25 minutes drive, and to the towns of Portimão and Lagos 30 minutes, Faro airport 60 minutes.
